Northern Star, Inc. is currently renovating 4 houses on our first campus in order for young ladies aging out of foster care to participate in the Independent Living Program. Dahlonega Baptist Church is hosting a summer missions opportunity September 4th-7th to help Northern Star wrap up many small renovation projects on the campus in order to get the houses move in ready. Any amount of time and all skill levels can be used to serve the Lord in getting this ministry ready to open it’s doors. Tasks include cleaning, decorating, installing laminate flooring, cutting and installing sub-flooring, tile work in kitchen and bathrooms, installing new shower pan and walls, replacing toilets and sinks, replacing light fixtures, and painting – walls, ceilings, trim, exterior eves, furniture, and kitchen cabinets.
